Well, I need it to have a decent campground for the camper. I guess Barren has such. Even though I'd love for it the be in our area.
Hopefully will see Jim in 3 wks at the Strader Show. Also going to talk to Dave next week as well in Lex. Like to see a good turnout. For a site with this many members it should only get bigger.
And if I show up...I will bring the F-n-F and challenge someone to duel....LOL!!!!! But no crap, I will try it just to see if I can catch one.

If it's at Nolin or Barren I'm definately in. This will be a first for me and am really looking forward to meeting some of the good people I have chatted with on the site

That's a good idea DevilsHorse. Per the email I recieved from JCH , he thought by this Friday would be long enough to run the voting.
I'm going out of town this weekend (4 wheeling in Eastern Ky.)and if it's ok I think we should give this last round of voting til Monday Jan.30 between Barren or Nolin.
After the Lake is determined we'll see when any Pavillions/ grills would be available for our group.There are nice campgrounds available at both Lakes.
If Barren is choosen, I say we have it at the Peninsula Marina Ramp and if Nolin is choosen we have it at either Moutadier(?) or Wax Ramp.
Let the voting begin and ONLY choose between Barren or Nolin.Good luck, I hope your favorite Lake wins.

Let's not forget this is a fishin.com get together. Some of us happen to be going fishing. Anyone reading the board should see this as a chance to put board names to faces, have a picnic, and maybe tell a few lies. If you want to just go fishing, anyone is welcome to do so without signing up for the tournament in any way, just go out and catch a few.
Hybrid chasers, crappie mongers, blue gillers, cat fishers, carp rasslers, and anyone else, there is NO obligation whatsoever to pay any contest fee to be part of this very informal gig. Black bass anglers may be the most vocal posters on the board, but they ain't all there is. If you need a boat to fish out of, say so and most anyone running a boat that has an extra seat will probably be glad to take you fishing.
There are some great people on this board, (even Dicken's an alright guy when he's asleep) hopefully everyone takes advantage of the opportunity to get together and make some new friends.
