RE: Plapp's Signs To Do Match Play Fishing 2006
Hey Matt,
Can you give us any dates of the competition?
I think it would be kind of a nice addition if the show could also add some audience to the format. If I remember the rules correctly, smack talk was incouraged. Now if there was an audiance, I'm thinking there may be more smack, even if it is only the fans.... LMAO
Actually, I was just thinking it might be fun to shadow these guys for a bit and learn from them. I know I'm not the only one who would be interested in this.
I'm asking you because I know you have a relationship with Joe, and you might be able to run this idea by him.
Thanks!
Danny

Is Joe Thomas going to do the Angler on Tour anymore. That was a great show. Does anyone know when the new series of Classic Patterns will be produced?
RE: Plapp's Signs To Do Match Play Fishing 2006
Joe is doing Angler on Tour again in 2006, the Classic Patterns program is done by Mike Auten, and I'm not sure but I'll make some phone calls and find out.

RE: Plapp's Signs To Do Match Play Fishing 2006
Their trying to avoid people knowing where and when due to the fact that if we told everyone then a lot of boats would be on the water following and that would make filming tough. In 2005 they released a press release about the location of the weigh-ins and times, but that's it. I'll post it this year if they do again.

Is it going to be back on KY and Barkley lakes?
Thanks,

RE: Classic Patterns DVDs
Thanks for the help on the dates Matt.
A question about the Classic Patterns DVDs. I was going to purchase them, of course that was while I was employeed, so I am now less likely to purchase the entire set.
Anyhow, I did not see the DVD on the KVD show. I was wondering if you have a DVD on the KVD show? If so, also what lake is he on? I remember him doing one show I really wanted to get, but haven't found it yet.
Also, are you manning the booth at the show? I don't think I can make it, but if I could talk my wife into coming with me, I always enjoy walking around dreaming about those newer, fancier boats, and of course the top of the line yachts and campers.
Now when I win that 156 million tonight, I may just come and start buying. LMAO

RE: Classic Patterns DVDs
Thanks Matt.
Do you know which lake and what pattern KVD is using and fishing on that DVD? I am thinking one was a spinnerbait up north, and I wasn't all that interested in that one, but the other one was a more southern type pattern, I think. I can't remember for sure, and that is just S-U-C-K-Y!!!!
Anyway, I can't make the show, so a couple of questions, what's the price, and can I buy over the 'net?
I do appreciate all your help. I tell you, you are so helpful, that I'll let you pay all my entry fees to every tournament this year, and I'll wear a Plapps shirt. Heck, if you want, I'll even let you help with other fees too, you know, like gas, food, lodging, etc....
Now I know not many are willing to make this type of offer to you, but I figure you have really helped me out with some information, and I should try to help you out too. As big as I am, you will be getting a traveling BILLBOARD for a much less expensive price than actually having to rent a real one... LOL
Really, Thanks Matt, and if you do know which lake and presentation he is using, please let me know.
Danny
RE: Classic Patterns DVDs
I'll see if the package says which lake, I think the price is $13 or 14.
