Lost in IRAQ
I am an avid fisherman, just not good at it, currently stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq. I love to fish the Big C, The Cumberland River, CC, Green, Stoner, well any thing that holds water. This board has let me enjoy my only bad habit in life, Fishing. (Had to quit the rest, so I could afford to fish). I have looked for a body of water here to wet a line in and can’t find one, YET, but still looking. So I guess what I really want to say is THANK YOU to everyone who post’s there experiences on here for me to enjoy. THANK YOU for keeping me up on what is going on at my favorite holes of water back home. I did not realize how truly great this board is until I could not get out and fish every weekend. I have to say hats off to everyone who makes this board work. Everyone please don’t ever take your out door privileges of any type for granted.
One thing I did find out while I am here, is how the bank account grows if you can’t get out and fish every week end.
Thanks again

Can't thank you enough for the sacrifice you're making. I have a good friend over there as well who gets a big pick-me-up from reading these forums about his favorite fishing holes back home.
Keep safe and you'll be back on the water in no time!

God bless you and get home safely...by the way...you aren't missing much on the Cumberland River right now. The generators are running all the time and the river is up and fast.
