How much do you all think this bass weighs? I caught this bass about 10 years ago and have always wondered what the weight might have been. you will have to copy and paste the link for pic Thanks!

I'll start off by assuming that what I'm seeing is a standard Johannsen metal fish stringer, with a phlange length of 75.12 millimeters.
I'll also assume that the young boy in the picture lacks any sort of abnormal gigantism or dwarfism condition that might affect the size of his hands.
Next, I seem to perceive slightly muted midtones in this photo, which is characteristic of the Canon Sure-Shot A1, either a series 101(b) or 101(c). If this is the case, then we can expect a slight deviation toward the positive from normal depth perception due to the camera's well-known autofocus abnormalities.
Using the standard [((Girth x Girth) x Length) / 800 = weight in pounds] formula only after weighting each of the three factors above and adjusting for any statistical outliers, I can say without reservation that fish is 28.929 pounds.

From teh looks of it I'd say IMHO...between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 pounds... Nice Fish there young man....

I'm with Jeep. the jaw on that bass is big. My guesstimate would be well over 5 lbs, possibly 6. It dwarfs Shamu. Hoping I catch some like that this year.

I kinda go along with ICB if the clips on the stringer are about 5" long and the fish looks to be about alittle over 4 clips in the picture. It makes it a nice 20 or 22 incher with a big head. So I'll guess around 6 Lbs. or so.
