Does this guy have no shame? Anything for a buck Roland. I saw him on a commercial promoting and selling some spring loaded rod and reel that blasts out a plastic pod that when hits the water opens up and drops your bait out underneath. It looked and is absolutely ridiculous, my wife and I just cracked up. Son, it's a gooden Son, you can catch 5,6,7 maybe an 8lb bass on it, Son.
I bet it was banned from most tournaments. LOL
He is a genuwine moron, Im sure hes doing all he can to make a $$ since he lost half of everything he owned!
I dont know if he is a moron or not lets see most of you out there bust your rears for about 30,000 a year + probably some over time. If you saw a chance to make a little money like that would you? The way i see it all of you are the morons because he found a way through bass fishing to make a living. As a matter of fact he made a living doing it and then is prabably making more money than youll ever see doing fishing shows and commercials like that! AND YOUR CALLING HIM A MORON!

Easy big fella, I just posted this because I thought it was too funny and if you see it you will to, it's hilarious. Now as for name calling on here to fellow members, this certainly won't get you any love at all. I see you are new and have only posted ten posts, so let me say welcome aboard, but you might want to take a couple of notches off their ole buddy as you won't make to many friends from this post, wooooweee, take a chill pill.
I have seen the commercials as well and find them very funny. As for the product, I always see the commercials on Saturday mornings and they seem to be targeted for kids. If this is something that it takes to get more kids fishing (remember, everybody is not as fortunate as we are) then I am for it.
Bottom line would I buy one? NO! But, if it gets kids interested in fishing, then I am okay with it.
P.S. I am not a Roland fan, but maybe he needs the money.
Naw dude ive been on here before my name was mfishyboy when they changed the board it wouldnt let me log in. I dont care about making friends and as far as calling one of my fellow members a moron it was is no different than them calling him a moron. Was it? correct me if im wrong.
Im not getting all tore up over this, I am just setting here as calm as can be at work just saying people should think before they speak or type whatever formality it is because more than likely it is them who is the moron.
I bought one of them shotgun fisherman deals. Shoot, it's only 2 low payments of $19.95 + shipping. What a deal!!! I was shooting my baits up under docks at Herrington yesterday... Oh sooooooonnnnn!!! I jacked 3 five pounders before noon!!! My buddy and I were high fiving all over the boat!!! The rod had a little too much backbone for me but the reel is a 12 ballbearing beauty with 8.3:1 speed.
Everyone needs to buy one so you can catch BIG HAWG BASS like Roland Martin catches out of his swimming pool!!!!

They are good for keeping the kids occupied and they seem to have a little fun as well Besides it keeps the hook out of my rear and don't have near the tangled lines to fix for them as well. I spent money on far worse and got the kids theirs when Wal-Mart had them for 30 bucks.

Nice thought, I never thought of that angle but could be true.
At the 1999 Classic on media/fan day at a local park. The anglers and media were riding back to the hotel on a charter bus and a couple of anglers were talking about cheating in tournaments. The subject came up anout cheating in the Classic and wondered if anyone had ever been caught cheating in it.
A well know prominent angler (read: somebody that just did a seminar at BPS) was sitting in the back of the bus with his hat pulled down over his eyes like he was sleeping. After a minute or two he woke and said "If Roland ain't been caught then nobody has." The bus exploded in laughter it was great.
