Does anyone know what has happened to the Silver Buddy? I can't find them anywhere? Dad and I used to use them throught the ice for walleye, but I live down here and have ran out. Dad said that he can't find them in S. Dak. either. Can anyone help.

Heard it was out of production.
This from a previous post:
"We have the original Silver Buddy in silver 1/2 and 1/4 oz. We also have a few gold 1/4 oz left. Most of you know about the Silver Buddy and how "It catches anything that swims."

Good Luck
****'s Sporting Goods has them, you just have to get down low and really look for them. Also Bullfrog Creek Tackle has a nice looking knockoff that looks almost like the original. Plus Bullfrog Creek has a going out of business sale going on....50% off on everything left in the store except live bait.... Plapps or Anglers Outpost Marine might also have some of them on hand as well.....
Thanx. Walmart kind of goes against my union belief. I try to by American products. Might have to swallow my pride. Still, nothing quit like a Silver Buddy.
Bullfrog Creek is still open? I thought it closed a while back. Cool.
I might have to order them from that shop. Thank you.
Backwaters in Lexington has some of the 1/2 ones... from my understanding the gentleman that made them got sick and passed away, then heard one of the sons was making them but that fell through and no one seemed to be able to get them for a while, now they are coming out of Florida and have the same packing as the old ones but the new ones have a salt water hook.
Also check with Steven Headrick at Punisher Lures. Yes the Silver Buddy is a great one, you might also ck around the bank on lake Cumberland I know I have several down there, now that the water is low might find one or two, lol.
you may try quick stop in celina tn. Go to punisher lures, and they have a web site, and they will also ship them to you. The heddon sonar is almostas good, or you may need to try ther cicadia type of that bait, theyare all similar, my favorite, the spin rite is getting impossible to find also.
Eyeballing the bank is not a bad idea. Lol. Nothing quite like a Silver Buddy.
They have some at the Cain Pole in Richmond. Also Billy's Great Outdoors it's new it's in the old building Pittsburg marine use to be in which is across from the one now in London. When you find em you better buy them all.
bullfrog is closed.
