Spring is getting closer, just watch each day for a week and you'll notice it getting daylight earlier and darker later by 1 minute each day...... Come on 90 plus degree days....Oh I just love the heat of spring and summer..... Did I mention I hated winter and every aspect of it....lol:D
THese 10 degree and less mornings over the last few weeks has got my temperature way up! I might just bust loose and head to Florida in February for a week.

Amen to everything said in this thread. I hate winter, I hate winter, one more time, I hate winter, O.K, I'm done.
you can have those 97 degree days. not me. i like winter just fine. when it's hot in the summer, i hit the pool. (or the beach at CC as the case may be)

Count me in like a thong on Rosie Odonnell's backside.
Guys you dont have to wait to catch bass at Herrington. I caught 6 keepers last week, see my other post. Key is getting to them on the morning bite when they are busting shad. Crankbaits did the trick - surface, then suspending and finally deep runners after 11 or so. Caught a couple each way. Big fish was 3lbs or so.
Does anyone eat 13-15 inch largemouth out of Herrington? Are they good to eat? I let all mine go, but thought about keeping two to filet/bake with lemon pepper and butter.
