With all the sports post(talk) going on I thought it would be fun to post your favorite sports, teams, players....... and least favorite.

Please keep it civil if you find that you have to comment about something on someones list.

NFL - Certainly watch it, but enjoy our fantasy league games more.
Soccer - Don't get it.

Can't stand:

WNBA - Just not one of the 12 people nationwide who care for it.
NBA - Too many overpaid thugs, won't watch it playoffs or otherwise.

Looks like most of us can agree (shocker) on a few of the teams and players we don't like, with Owens being the most disliked player and the Cowboys and Yankees being the most disliked teams. Can't believe I left Bonds off my disliked list (knew I would forget someone)

Mhall, I hadn't heard the name Patrick Sparks since he was arrested in BG for a DUI but now that I think about it he looks like he could be Billy Clyde's love child. My dad loved him for some reason and still till this day claims Tubby ruined him. Also just curious as to why you don't like him.


Devils Horse what is Wallyball?

It's played in a racquetball court with a volleyball net in the middle and 4 players on each team. Identical to volleyball but you can play it off the walls like racquetball. A bunch of us at work play twice a week. We have some pretty fierce competition, get a decent workout, and it's pretty fun too. We often play 3 on 3 or 2 on 2 which is an even better workout.

Used to enjoy pounding the younger dudes on the racquetball court, but had to curb that because of elbow tendinitis that impacted my fishing habit. Rough getting old as dirt.

I don't really have any favorites, but rarely do I root against UK or USC in college football. I just like to watch the games. Usually root for the underdog or an up and coming team.

But now I've got to take a second to address MsgMills and his like of Jerry "the King" Lawler. I'm sure this stems back from the days of "channel 3" wrestling that used to be on Saturdays at noon I believe. I loved watching this as a kid and still remember the most heinous act in all of humanity when Tommy Rich and Austin Idol crotched the King on the ringpost and then shaved his head. Classic stuff that was way ahead of it's time.

Um, I'm having trouble here.....somebody help me out. Is fishing a sport, a passion, or a way of life? If it's a sport, there's competition; if it's a passion you, sometimes, have to choose between a bad night on the water or a good night with a sweet lady (dogs named 'Lady' don't count); if it's a way of life, you think more about fishing than about working. Winter! What have you done to my brain? I WANT TO GO FISHING.

There's a sheet of ice covered with snow in my area. I'm stuck in the house and the closest I'll get to fishing today is by daydreaming.

Dislike:

NASCAR -- They all start at the same line; drive counter-clockwise (which screws up a normal brain program); ride for 500 grueling miles, and end up at the same place they left from. Rocket science at its finest. Hey Bubba! Why is my head jerking to the left?
