Let's help Dave

Guys I know sometimes we get carried away on this Off topic board, me included. Dave isn't trying to be a hard case just enforce the rules to the letter in which Peter Maloney wants for this site. Sometimes we get a little keyed up and spit out a few words on here we shouldn't and jokes that may be percieved as a little dirty. If we have something like that to say let's say it to eack other via e-mail or private messaging. They are right, there are some VERY young people that frequent this site so let's keep it squeaky clean for the young'uns. What do you say guys are with me on this one??

Works for me, I am guilty of getting carried away myself at times.

I always try and behave myself :) but sometimes things get out of hand. I try my best but I guess I'll try harder if it was me?

Sorry man, no promises I can't keep. I'll make the same effort I always do to stay within the rules of the board. With all due respect to Dave, if I'm one of the ones to get banned, so be it.

I quit posting for the most part on the fishing board because the moderation was IMO flawed, and don't read it that much anymore because there's seldom anything that interests me. That said, fishin.com is a great source of information, and I'm very grateful to Peter and his team of moderators.

I still believe if Peter created a board with minimal moderation, it would get a lot of hits. This one and others stay the way they are, but the new one could be a place where we could mix it up a little.

Count me in.

Of course I'm always on my best behavior so this should be easy. :)

I have to disagree. While it might be good for a few laughs at first I think you would see the board deterorate rather quickly and few people coming back. It started to get like that a few years back and we lost some good people cause they got tired of the smart arse answers and no useful info. Good natured ball-busting amoung friends, no one has a problem. Its when things proceed to the next level that it gets out of hand. If you like the idea of a "fight club" board, set one up and give it a shot.
