Re: Interrogation methods
Jim your killing me, lol. I can't print on this family friendly site what I would do to extract intell from terrorists, it might scare some people!!!! I say let our fine, highly trained men and women in our Armed Forces do what they need to do to keep our people and our country safe. We don't need to know everything, whatever it takes, PERIOD, end of that story!
Re: Interrogation methods
If these Libs cut us off at the knees with all this luvey dovey junk and we get hit again by these losers then maybe the american people will realize that we have to fight fire with fire...I mean who gives a camels hump what they think?
Re: Interrogation methods
I could not care less what they have to do to get the information...if it saves U.S .lives I am for it!
Re: Interrogation methods
Liberal Democrats have been waiting for a long time to get this aliegnment (Control of Congress/Senate and an inexperienced BUT VERY LIBERAL PRESIDENT) and I fear that they will ultimately try to do away with our government and turn everything over to the United Nations for control. The Clintons have always been in favor of One World Government.
The Liberals hate our military, our inteligence services (CIA, NSA. etc) and our homeland security and, like Clinton did, I expect they will treat terrorist activities as crimes to be solved by the FBI and not acts of war to be retaliated for by our military. I expect the CIA will soon be worthless because of the appointment of Leon Pennetta, whose only experience in intelligence is that he has read some James Bond novels. He is not there to manage the CIA , he is going to manage it's burial. This kind of stuff leaves us totally open to terrorism and that is what really scares me.
I hate to be wrong, but in this case, I sincerely hope that I am. Time will tell. Now that my doom and gloom has made your day, I hope you sleep well tonight. :)

Re: Interrogation methods
I heard BHO say that he thinks there might actually be some dangerous guys down in Gitmo. He's trying to figure out how to turn them loose without looking bad. W kept some detainees detained because their home countries wanted to give them lead pills if you know what I mean.
Re: Interrogation methods
Grumpy you are right on. We need to do what ever it takes to keep our way of life safe. If some one threatens it sorry for his luck. If you hit him hard enough and let the world see maybe the next guy will change his mind.

zx150, are you talking about hitting the terrorists or the Liberals? ;)
If you are talking about the Liberals, everyone needs to get ready to write letters (not emails) to thier Congressperson, Senators and the new President explaining your concerns. In this case, I am not sure it will do much good, but until the next election it's the only thing we can do.

Re: Interrogation methods
I say do what it takes to get the info out of them...one fingernail at a time if need be......:)
Re: Interrogation methods
What I meant was hit the terrorist with a liberal until they both understand what is the right way to do something. You may have to demonstrate on a few hundred thousand before they all start to understand but, they will eventually get the hang of it.
Re: Interrogation methods
Or, may be things will not change at all concerning the interigation of terrorists. Could be that what we admit too publically and what the CIA does in the privacy of their own interigation rooms are two different things. Just a thought ;)

Ever the voice of reason. Hey Andrew, how's it going?
Well, they won't be interrogating on Gitmo, one of Mr. Obama's first orders of business is to close it down. Another poster mentions what to do with the 'residents' there without looking bad. President elect Obama doesn't have to worry about looking bad, the mainstream press will make sure he smells like a rose.
