Done the same thing and was not happy. I guess that I should not expect anything less from the company that owns Bassmasters to interupt fishing shows with tennis. Maybe they are interested in buying the WTA and this is their way of showing support for tennis. At least I have plenty DVR'd to help me get my fix this morning, but already seen all the WGFS that I have and need a Zona fix BAD
Well, I switched over to versus and they have a lot of bass fishing. Just watched Roland, and Bill Dance is on now. Not the same as Zona and the Bassmasters. but it will have to do.
ESPN is the best thing that could have happened for the FLW series and Versus tv.

Dagone it Andy, you had me until that last line. I resemble that remark LOL!
not to start a fight or anything, but would ESPN rather run repeats or a live sporting event? As much as I LOVE TO FISH, I understand the need for a company to make money. Like it or not I'll bet MORE people watched the tennis matches than would have watched re-run fishing shows... Dan

Only bassmasters would have been a rerun, Zona, Charlie Moore and the others would have been new. I wouldn't bet that ratings for tennis would be higher than the fishing shows they normally show. Plus, that is the fishing time slot and I doubt many tennis fans were up to watch the tourney, because they probably didn't know it was on.
i like to watch womens tennis if nothing else is on. and i will watch womens beach vollyball to.:D
I am with yellow on this one guys. My wife loves tennis and was up this morning to watch it. Now I love bass fishing more than ANYTHING else and I wish they some how would take bass fishing to the tennis level, but I doubt it will ever happen. These tennis players are so rich they do not know what to do with their money. For one reason they get so much attention is look at there sponsers Rolex, Mercedes, Nike, Adidas just to name a few. There is no fishing sponsers like that or any tournaments with payouts at 5 mil plus. Tennis is a more world wide sport than fishing too and I hate it why would you want to watch someone hit a ball back and forth, to me it is as boring as golf.
Since I got digital cable about a month ago, I don't ever watch the ESPN shows much anymore. The Outdoor Channel and Versus have more and better fishing shows on Saturday mornings. However, Is still think the best fishing show on television is The Spanish FLy; but hen I do a lot of saltwater fishing. Just my humble opinion.
