Boy, was I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

Man that just makes you want to puke. I have a feeling its only going to get worse with a Democratic lead party, I think they will make it easier to get across, and stay. Of course as soon as they cross the border, they hand out Democratic Party voter registration cards.

Thats not counting all of the money that we give to other countrys that would wish us harm!

As bad as that problem is, I still think it pales in comparison to the number of legal citizens who are abusing government programs....or more accurately who the government allows to abuse them.

Heck the Illegals have their # 1 supporter in control of the House now...Nancy Pelosi...Need I say more...She's all about giving them more each day......

We should send the illegal's to Afganastan to fight the war then after they do this make them tax paying citizens. Oh did I miss the pull out date Obama set for the troops he is sending to Afganastan?

Actually MSG, the Catholic Church is the biggest supporter of the illegals, and the church can buy the US if it wants to. We have Nuns around here who go out of their way to get illegals benifit's, we had one that lied for them, honestly. Everyday more and more illegals come into this office and I give them food and health care, while hard working tax paying legal citizens get zip, zilch, big fat 0, it is wrong morally, socially, and financally, to do this. They need to overhaul this and quick or the only one's building the roads and infastructyre will be illegal's. I wish I could change the rules, it really goes against my belives to give them benifits, but nothing can be done it seems, to me this is a national security issue as we are tech at war and if someone or country invades or enteres illegally, could that not be considered an overthrow attempt or something, we have been invaded. In war if you sneek into another country unnoticed itsnt that so you can get troops behind the lines to help with the takeover. Just a thought.:eek:

Does Kentucky get more Welfare money each year if they put more people on the system each year? Or is it a budgeted amount that they have to stay within?

i'm a catholic, our church usually has down and out lazy locals with their hands out. at our parish we have no latinos in membership, but our priest several years ago with threatened because he wouldn't give out cash, just food vouchers, which we found out later were sold for drug and booze money.When these ingrates complain that we give themnon brasnd name tennis shoes for their kids,and not designer jeans, that ended it for many of us.Yes mychurch does support some illegals, thats why I'm not making any donations to them anymore. Not bnecause some of them dont need it, but the one incident, where they refused the INS admission to ship back some of them, leaving the familys here.But what iced the cake for religious charity was a couple stranded, with a car problem, who asked the biggest baptist church in the area for some help, and were denied, because the money was already spent for the building fund. They got help, they were lodged at a local motel, fed at a local resturant, and their car was repaired, several months later, the church recieved a thank you letter, and a check, that more than covered what was offered.We had a homless guy show up one sunday, I slipped him a tenner, and he thanked me. Another person asked me why I did it. Because it made ME feel good, and it suire as heck wasn't going to make the guy wealthy.Maybe some day. Ill need some help, and the lord through a person may provide it.

DJD, Yes they do get more funds if the numbers are up, but also our cases must be processed timley, correct etc. in order to get the gov WELFARE monies. I do not know all the spefic's as that is info us in the trences do not get. I do know that most of the funds are from the USDA. There needs to be more checks and balances put in place in this system, the food benifits and med benifits programs ie. MEDICADE, are the biggest expences in this state, and the most abused, yes their are those in need and fall upon hard times, but some have made a living drawing benifits, now look at octimom, 14 children and taxpayers will have to help raise them, this is absured, these programs were designed to hepl in time of need not for stupidy and laziness.

Where have you been for the last 25 years??!! As a pharmacist dealing with Welfare patients I never ONCE saw anyone get off medicaid. Once on, forever on.

They couldn't "afford" the 50 cent co-pay but could stock their carts up with makeup, cigarettes, soda pop, etc.

I'd finally had enough of this carp and quit working for good last year. Why should I bust my hump for 12 and 14 hour days, 7 to 10 days in a row and these lazy, dope smoking, CHEATS ABUSE MY TAX MONEY.!!!!!

I apologize to you working stiffs if my quitirement caused this downturn of the economy and the market and housing crash!!!

The Gubment support system doesn't seem to encourage productivity. I guess we were destined to fail with the Statue of Liberty statements of give us your poor, weak, stupid, crooks, lazy, lifetime politicians, Liberals, bleeding heart greenies, Al Gore, terrorists etc etc...Oh I might have messed some of that up.:p My bad!
