I just walked next door to our shop here during lunch where there is a small pond in our neighbors field adjacent to us. I caught 10 bass in 17 minutes so help me swimming a 1/4 oz spot remover jig head with a baby paca craw on the back. It was ridiculous, on every cast. No big ones, biggest one about 17 inches and the rest about 12 to 14 inches. How's that for a 30 minute lunch break, beats a bologna sandwich anyday..... I love it!

Where do you work, and do you need some help, can be there in a moments notice, will even bring the sack lunch. Man thats great, hopefully they will hit for me tomorrow at Nolin!

If I had a pond like that next to work I'd be fired by the end of the first week for not working.

I hear the bite is tough at Dale so maybe after tomorrow we will come and launch at this pond. Better than the lunch that I had today.
Excellent. Sounds like my "they're bitin" lunch hours, only two minutes from the local Sportsman lake. Gotta love it, even though I've been biteless for the past few days.
Man what a let down when you had to go back to work. Farm ponds can be fun, I used my lunch break to run down to the landing to look at the licking to check out water conditions.
comes down to the age old question....whats more important, eating or fishing.....and might i say that you made the right choice
Sounds like you made up for some real Cabin fever from the winter and made a great choice for lunch.....

Great! Because I spent 20 minutes today and never got a bump so with you on "our side" we got even with those slimy green suckers!:p:)
