My bet is this guy is related to Geobasser, without a doubt. Either his uncle, first cousin or somewhere up that family tree (that has VERY FEW BRANCHES IF ANY AT ALL), this fella and Geo are related. Just could not resist George

Actually, I've done very similar..........

I put a shotgun shell in a cast iron pipe once, put it in a vise, and clubbed the cap..........BOOM.................hole in garage door :) I was 10, so I get a "get out of STUPID for free" card.

when we was in high school my buddy threw a 22 shell on the ground and it went off... we was under his covered porch and i dunno where that thing went..it went off and there was cars parked around and windows not to forget me and him standing there i just wonder how nothing got hit..... but he wasnt the smartest individual to ever grace this planet.....

Man you guys are crazy. If I would have done something like that with live ammo, my dad would have taken the day off work just so he could spend the entire day showing me and my rear end the error of my ways.

I wonder why the police report and the story the guy told the news are totally different?

Its unlikely a .22lr round will have enough energy to penetrate very far if at all into a person with out being fired from a gun. The way ammunition works is that the expelled gases from the "explosion" are forced in one direction, accelerating the bullet out the barrel (hence longer barrel means more velocity). With no chamber or barrel the bullet will just pop out of the casing with energy just a fraction of the amount that would come out of a barrel.

Simple Experiment...........

Take a HEAVY duty can.................put it inside another can...........GARBAGE cans work GREAT.

Put a hot plate under the smaller can.............and throw a couple 22 rounds into the smaller can........Once the smaller can heats up enough the 22 rounds will "pop".

AND there is enough ENERGY to go completely through the smaller can,and put a SERIOUS dent in the outer can.

DID this as a kid too................

Oh, yeah...I got plenty of butt whoop-ins myself. But did this kind of stupid trick when the old man and mom weren't around. :D

Same thing about throwin aerosol cans in to a burning fire and having them explode in my face on accident. Now that right there scared the holy bee jeeebee's outta me, let me tell ya....
