Kidnapping In Progress

Do not call 9-1-1. I've finally captured Sweetie Pie and for the next 4 days he will be held "hostage" on an isolated island that is accessible only by boat. He is not handcuffed or tied up......yet. He is only allowed to take his fishing rods and tackle box; no pager and no cell phone (well, not his). The rules are that he must spend all 4 days on RR&F while being spoiled and pampered day and night. I'll take care of everything else and he will feast like a king.

The reason I'm kidnapping him is because he has worked 10-hour days including weekends for the past 5 years, (I got that right) and has only had a day or two off per month. The only exception was when he suddenly became ill (heart). When he gets a day off, he isn't really off because he has to take calls if there are issues that develop at work, day and night. He told me last weekend that he has been having headaches for the past 3 months and thought it may be caused from stress and exhaustion. (He's also preparing testimony as an Expert witness in a huge lawsuit). He sees the doctor next Tuesday but in the meantime, I'm da boss. I'm honestly scared out of my mind and that's why I'm taking over.

When we come back from the RR&F, he gets to work 3 days and then it's off to my house on the "Redneck Riviera" for another 2 weeks vacation and more spoiling and pampering. I've told him there will be no work from him, none; that he can enjoy visits from friends but that's it.

Since you're all men (I think), from a man's perspective, do you think I'm doing enough to help him or is there something else I can do?

Wow, sounds like you got it covered. Being spoiled and pampered takes care of alot of things! ;)
If he is working that much he needs a break...good job!

Sure do but I don't think you would like her. She's 5'8" tall, weighs 121 pounds, blonde but not dumb (she's an accountant), has a couple of fat chest bumps, is rich, owns her house, make that two houses (one by the ocean, neither has a mortgage) and.......................is SINGLE.
