From Pa and went to school in Philly. Would like to see the Phils make it 2 in a row. Phillies only been in 6 before this, won 2 lost 4. Yanks seem to own the series, their 40th trip with 26 wins and 13 loses in 39 prior trips. Going for the home guys, and the underdog. Besides, I like Philly Cheese Steaks!

Charlie Manuel is from a little town I semi grew up in, Buena Vista,Virginia.
A couple of my uncles played ball (football and baseball) with him as a teammate.

Charlie comes back to Buena Vista once in awhile for reunions and charity events.

Amen brother! Even Mike and Mike on ESPN Radio brought that up about the money spent by the Yanks. Sure it's legal but it doesn't guaranty anything and when you do win it looks infair or manipulative. I guess old G.S. doesn't care he just wants to win at any cost.:rolleyes:

Well my team is the Dodgers and they obviously lost. I think the Yankies will win but I'll be cheering for the Phillies
