Not doubting the story at all because you really can't tell by pictures. That fish doesn't look 95lb's to me, not even close. Chuck and I at the river have caught blues together at or slightly above 60lb, that fish just doesn't look it at all.
Look at his hand in comparison to the fish's head???
Don't mean to bust the stories chops just my two cents, still a big blue though.
Although they said they weighed it twice, I guess it could very well be true, sure doesn't look it though.
I need to get a set of those scales...lol.
that fish is nowhere near 90 lbs.

Now mark that guy could be 8ft tall..LOL I want to use his scales...Good fish but......I have to agree with Mark. Seen to many big critters in my life.
Maybe they weighed it twice and added the total together! :)
Yeah a few better pics would help the story!
yea it just dosent look 95lbs to me either but maybe it swallowed a anchor or something.lol
I guess I'm equally shocked that they actually have a lake in that state, because I thought the entire state boated at Lake Cumberland, lol.
I'm sorry Lord for that.

Well I`m with Mark and Chuck,,,there is NOWAT that fish weighted near that, hell thats Chucks avg size he should know,,and mark would too,,,cause he is always watching chuck catch them size wishin he did,,,LOL But that fish might be 60,,,my 55lber from a month ago was that size...
You guys may be right, I don't know. I can tell you this, after taking thousands of fish photos for magazines and newspapers, it is hard to judge fish size by a photo. I can promise you I can make a three pound largemouth look like a seven pounder with the right lense and angle.
If that fish is 95lbs then I have caught and relesed MANY 13lb Smallmouth.
I read the article and looked at the picture before I read yalls comments and I was going to say the same thing. That man must be a giant or that cat has swallowed a bunch of plutonium or something to get that weight!
