Sarah Palin's book goes on sale Tuesday. Anybody here planning on buying it?

I'm not 100% sure on that Road. I, while am a Republican, am not sure I am 100% behind her. Perhaps reading her book would help.

My biggest concern was her deciding to resign the Governship of Alaska because she felt she was a "Lame Duck" governor, and would not accomplish anything. If this is true, I can respect that, but I am not truly sure that is the case. Let me explain my thoughts...

I personally think she is a very intelligent person, but that reason she gave is diametrically opposed to her "taking time off" to run for vice president. I don't see any politician really doing their job while they are coampaigning for another office.

Heck, that is another concern I have. Would your employer let you take of one to two years to look for another job, continue to pay your salary, guarantee your job would still be there if you fail to get the better job? That is what happens for all our politicians. If you want to be President, or vice president, then give up your governship then... as you won't get anything done.

I fell that same standard should apply to both President Obama and Senator McCain, and every other person that decides to run for office in the future.

Man, I should have opened a whole other can of worms with that thought... LOL
