More Global Warming FUEL.....

I'm surprised NO ONE is talking about this........

While I absolutely HATE hackers, I think these guys hacking a Climate Change Research Center, obtaining and Posting the emails is a SERIOUS story.

No One is saying anything about this.......and there is written correspondence between multiple parties trying to HIDE, and manipulate data disproving climate change theories.

This is important because We're getting ready to sign legislation that makes the Kyoto protocol look like childs play.

I admit I didnt read your link. Dont know how old you are but im 43. I remember when in my early teens going deer hunting in November and freezing out by 9 am several yrs in a row. I been hunting for the last few yrs wearing a light jacket and staying all day. Could that be a sign of global warming? Gonna have to ask my granddad how it was back in 1935 or thereabouts, he is 94.;)

im pretty sure the climate has had its ups and down throughout the centuries....one persons lifetime cannot reflect that i dont think

Youre right! I wont ask your opinion about the icecaps melting that were formed millions of yrs ago and started melting a few yrs ago. Guess its getting colder, sorry I said anything.:rolleyes:

You are wrong about the ICECAPS, SlippedCork, these were formed during the last Ice Age about 25,000 years ago. The thing that starts an Ice Age is the Polar Caps start melting (which they are doing now) and raise the sea level, etc. etc. I have no doubt that man has helpd to speed up the process some but the reality is we are in the begining of a new Ice Age. Stick around for a few hundered more years and you will see what happens.

Some of the scientists pushing global warming are talking about FAKING the data to PROVE their point........

Now WHY do you suppose they'd so such a thing...........Is grant money involved.

Instead of bantering back and forth if it EXISTS..........I'd be honked off that my tax dollars are paying for scientists to FAKE the data.

WOW...........you guys completely miss the point...........we're about to spend HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars on a protocol that makes Kyoto look like childs play. AND the data that they are using to push it may be fake.

I read the link, and if it's true, then I'm with you 100%. But how do you know it's true? Because some HACKERS say it is? How do you know THEY are not misrepresenting the data they found, to advance their own agenda? Just like everything else I've read about global warming, I'm taking this with not just a grain of salt, but a great big rock of it.

Yea, I agree...........I want to see what comes of it.......but the fact that it is not getting any air play tells me they LIBS are SKARED of what they found.......or it is total bung.

I HOPE for the country........this puts to rest some of the scare tactics being used to push a TRILLION dollar global warming initiative.......

History has shown that the earth goes through warming and cooling trends. We are currently in a warming trend. This is all natural. I don't believe mankind is competent enough to cause a change of this magnitude. Some Environmentalist have been radical in their approach to do many things such as attacking fishing vessels and downright terrorism. I believe that the scientists that sent those emails could be just as passionate and manipulate data to achieve their goals. If they are found to be falsifying data it will set environmental groups back a great deal. They will lose the attention of the people that have been listening to them.

I don't think we have the ability to cause or stop global warming....mother nature is in the catbird seat here......we can probably speed it up or slow it down a bit....I do remember in my lifetime when smog was a lot bigger problem than it seems to be today so we have improved air quality....or so it seems anyway... without some of the changes that were put in place over the years just imagine trying to live in las angelas today.
