A fine looking specimen indeed. Looks very bright, sometimes you can look into a Dog's face and his eyes and almost see intelligence. I know that may sound silly but I have always kinda thought that.
I love Dogs, greatest companion of all time.
If you are out too late................They are glad to see ya
If you drink too much.................They are glad to see ya
If you are in a crappy mood and are hard to get along with........They cheer you up
They are a cheap date and are easily pleased and amuzed
They love you no matter what.........Period, name another living creature you can say that about???????????
Mark,
He is my second Lab and he is with me just about everywhere I go. I can read his face as to what he wants and of course dogs do this very well too.
We have had a German Sheperd, a Boxer, Poodles and mutts and Maxx is by far the most intelligent. I know alot of it is how much time you get to spend with your dog. Since I brought him home as a puppy he has come to the shop with me and as he has aged (4 years) he has gone fishing, hiking and if I could figure out how to get him on my ATV I would take him!
The family here has 4 other labs and I wouldn't trade him or his personality for any of them.
Great looking friend.
Thanks Bobby...I've taken him to Stoner at Frymans and rushed him into the boat because of those dogs that used to be there. He would be ok one on one but several males against him could get ugly! Then Ole' Daddy would have to get involved.:p
With out a doubt. My dog is almost like my other child.
Nice thread Don, nice looking friend you have...I have no idea how to post pics here...but I'll try to send them to someone who does in a day or two...gotta travel on Wednesday, but I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of my Lab and German Short Hair Pointer.

I know exactly what you mean...I had a run in with a neighbor where I used to live...My Lab verses his Great Dane...only thing is this idiot actually enjoyed watching his Great Dane chew dog tail...the words that escaped my mouth out on that beautiful Sunday afternoon weren't to kind...all I know is if you're intending to whoop up on a man's dog then you better be ready to whoop up on the man too.
Would love to see some pics Tim. Just scroll down and upload each pic (only does two) from a folder on your puter and then post the message.
Could Facebook em I can see them their.
With ya there Bobby. I think Maxx listens better but thats another story...haha
Nice lookin lab. Got 3 chocolates myself. Here is a couple pics of the momma's boy.....That is unless goin fishin is on the agenda.
