So it begins....It was 2003 since the Cats topped the #1 spot in the polls. Long road ahead. Tonight they take on another guard that should give them problems. I thought Fortsen would,but I felt sorry for him,. He had no help whatsoever....The Gamecocks guard is averaging over 30 per game. And Darrin Horn is an exciting and motivating coach....We'll see,,,
IN THE MEANTIME...I'm going to enjoy it while it last...
CATS#1........
I find myself defending the Cats more and more and they are not my #1 team. Heck, I figured they would lose by now but I swear they look stronger all the time!
The team is playing hard and other players are stepping up! The coach is doing a great job of dealing with the freshmen and the media. I'm all for them keeping the #1 seed since in sports thats who gets the most attention and there is nothing wrong with UK and Lexington finally getting the attention again!
Crow Billy Crow, I would to buddy. They deserve the #1 ranking and seem to be getting better all the time.
Fortsen needs a hair cut that boy would loose 10lbs if he would cut that mop.
Enjoy it now. I seen where it's highly likely now that Wall is the number 1 lottery pick, Patterson, Cousins and even Bledsoe are all listed to go in the first round if they come out. Cousins and Patterson were high in the first round and Bledsoe was moving up with every game that's played. Looks Calipari might be rebuilding next year, gonna be a different look if all four of those fellas come out.
But Hey that is then and this is now, like I said enjoy it, they deserve it they are a hell of a team. There is nobody in the SEZ that is gonna touch them.

Halftime.....Downey for SC is awesome...Darrin Horn has prepared well......Cousins on the brink of a double/double....still looks like a cow on ice at times.....Game pace favors SC......

I saw were Obama had called the cats on the phone after the cats got the #1 ranking, and then the cats lose within 24 hours. I wonder if the cats were just another victim of the Obama jinx? Just seems like whatever Obama gets involved in goes to pot in a hurry. I wouldn't be taken anymore of his calls if I was them. I 'm just saying..........:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

wow, don't even keep the title of Number 1 for even 48 hours...except for the fact that they will still be unofficially # 1, untill the next poll comes out..... I think they got the Big Head and plus Barry Osama put his magical jinx on them........
i wasnt able to watch the game and i havent heard much about it, but i did hear patterson only took five shots. could someone tell me if he was not looking to shoot and being a little to generous by passing or did he not get to touch the ball much. if its because he wasnt being used, at least now they know they cant win if patterson doesnt get his points. hate it that they lost, but that proves they arent ready to be #1. imo GO BIG BLUE
