I wish they had more for the everyday fisherman in terms of tacklet and seminars. Too many big boats and campers and not enough fishing talk for me. It's the same thing every year.

Yeah I don't go anymore. Stopped going many years ago. It's cool if your wanting to kill time and blow some cash.
I just got back from Lex. boat show and it was pretty good. Looks like Backwaters is putting on an awesome TX at Herrington. Top Dawg Match Fishing with a with a big purse. Format is similar to UMF. They had a booth set up with some good tackle out there. Saddlebrook outdoors also had a pretty good selection of stuff. Zoom plastics for 2 bucks with some good colors and baits.
Some nice boats to druel over up there as well. They had a decked out Ranger with the nightfishion system :eek:. My 3 yr old son caught a trout out of the tank and they also had a lumberjack show. Pretty good time.
