Bluegrass
I've wondered for awhile now why no tourneys are on bluegrass? Good fish, good numbers of fish 3 good pits to fish. I fish it 2-4 times a week and I've only ran into 1 tourney. I only know of 1 on it this year. With how close it is to Evansville it just shocks me.

He's nuts is all I can say. As much as psvec and I fish it we'd see a lot more of them. Unless there is a local club I've never heard of runs them. Only one I know of is a club up around Glendale doing a single stop on there with their series. Even a 3 hour like Glendale during the week would have a good turn out. If there is one we should team up on it psvec, we have the advantage! Bag limit is the only draw back that I see about it.

Re: Bluegrass
I dont know if the bag and size limits would turn people off, but id be happy to fish tourneys there. Alot of small lakes clubs do a weekly thing, same day, same time every week. I think if there was enough interest, something like that would be a real success.

Re: Bluegrass
So something during the week like 5-8pm or weekends? And how often? Weekends are tough for me due to work.

Re: Bluegrass
i would definately not be dissapointed by a lack of tourneys on a lake i fish

Re: Bluegrass

Re: Bluegrass
Well Talk to the guys you now and see if they are good with a weekday series like that. I'll do the same and see what we come up with.

Re: Bluegrass
So I learned something new today. I spoke with Nate the dnr manager of bluegrass. It is illegal to hold a tourney of any kind on bluegrass or Glendale. He also said they know it is getting violated a lot on local dnr property and will be checking for it this year. Only lake in sw Indiana that can hold a tourney is patoka. The person who runs the tourney will be heavily fined. Anyone fishing in the tourney will also be fined. Another stupid law imo.
