Ky. Lake report Sunday

Just thought I'd post...talk to my father last night on the phone (lives in Hoptown). He and my brother got the Triton out of the garage for the first time. They put in at Ken Lake...went North no more than two miles..land-between the lake side...small pockets on the main lake, and major points. They caught 12 bass..5 were over 15"..and one was 4.12!!!
Said they caught the lagest on a "booby Shake" (thought you like the Bobby H.) :) Others keepers on a jerk bait, pointer...right close to the rocks dad said. Also my brother caught a Hyb. striper that went 12lbs (on 8lb test line)!!! Largest ever for my little bro...he kept that one for the skillet.

Cannot beat the "booby shake" gets em all the time.:d

The "Booby Shake" rig is a proprietary rig invented by Bobby H. and named by yours truly. It does catch em.

A little trick i made up out of nessasity and it catches fish. I cannot disclose the secret at this time as i have several tourneys this year. Lol lol lol. Ktb named it at yatesville where i caught fish after fish on it inc one around 4, this was the first time i used this rig.

Well Bobby pores his own floating worms...and a "special" jig head he also designs...Im just glad to have him as a club partner for the first time this year. Im excitied about getting things going this year. The Kincaid Bassmasters is a great tournament trial club. I tell everyone...if you want to run with the big dogs...you got to get off the porch. And this is the club to do just that; you will take a few hits with your self exteem at first...but for those that stick with it....you will learn from the best! So Bobby is going to learn to running with the dog of fishing...ha ha ha. He is one co-angler (for now), that can sure put some fish in the boat...when the toughest conditions are on. That is what your partner is supposed to do, right! I allways say...that if you partner can put just one good kicker in the boat at every tournament...they will be AOY!!!! Im counting on you booby shake...Bobby is so fired up, he can't stand it:) It will come booby...just hold on for a little bit longer...it will happen very soon! Im get to pick out my Costa Del Mar 580 sunglasses today for an early B-day present from my wife...Im so excitied about that I feel like Christmas morning and Im 9 years old all over again; gosh...can't wait for 4:30 to come!!!

Cant wait to began this year, the ole "booby shake" is ready have several made up. lol lol.

sorry, I was reading about the booby jigs and they were the only booby baits I new about. and the booby jig looks good. the picture of the booby jig may help someone get their line stretched.:)
