As big as you like. Big enough to throw with a spinning rod if that is what you are thinking.
How big do you want yours ?
Rock,
I was thinking 1/4 oz is that too big? Maybe 1/8 oz??
Thanks!

Have lost track of my triple beam since I quit using it years ago ! LOL ! Will have to get me one of them new electronic scales to get them precise !
That is one cool looking fly. I have slowly started a transition over the past year or two to throwing more streamers and getting away from my nymphing comfort zone. That "Rusty" fly looks like it has attractive colors and probably a lot of movement to it in the water. Do you ever tie articulated flies? I have been getting many of them recently from Kelly Galloup's line of streamers.
Your Rusty HH in an articulated version would probably be killer.
Keep it up!

Yes as a matter a fact I do ! But they really take a long time. If I ever get caught up on my list of HH's to tie for my Fishin.com brothers??? I will tie you an articulated Rusty ! ( Might take a while, But I will get to it )
Thanks for the good comments and overall support !
