Shocking isn't it, (insert eye roll).
Now Tim, you know that only the evil dark Republican's like ''W'', Senior, and Reagan did this sorta thing, how dare you suggest a man of the people, a man of CHANGE, (God I hate that word now), would stoop to such a level. You should be punished for your wrong accusations immediately. (INSERT second and larger eye roll, followed by a throat Gag)
Wow and it's not surprising. These politicians get so much help from special interest groups that I'm amazed anything gets done. Now this lotus was supposed to be so different and gets a pass on almost anything he does. He is a crook, fabricator of stories and a joke as the face of this nation.
How long has this adminstration spun their wheels on containment of this oil spill? A month? Where is the nationwide outcry? Oh yeah they don't have the authority to do anything. Hmmmm they have the authority to take over a corporation and bailout billion dollar companies but when it comes to this they suddenly follow the rules.
They could have hired another company to fix this and then insured that bp payed the bill. Better yet the Feds could have payed the bill to say (exxon?) and then fined bp.
It's crooked and getting covered up as we speak. Turn the tables and figure that a GOP member was potus. How much blame would have been tossed their way?? You know the answer.
So what would you guys do? Sounds you are wasting your time here, go to the gulf and tell them what they are doing wrong.Yes, government listens to special interest groups, you have that same right to petition government, so you guys come up with a couple of miiion bucks, and get your representatives ear, and maybe all your wiahes will come through. WE HAVE BEEN LETTING THE WOLVES WATCH THWE SHEEP FOR YEARS AND YEARS, its thwe anerican way.If GWB had asked congress for a billion or two to make deep diving robotic subs, we would have told him to go screw himself. We let large corporations make the rules, and when THEY screw up, and we take action, its called big gobmint. Maybe you guys should switch back to coffee. Too much tea gives me diarrhea.
From the tone of that post your problem with the runs comes out of both ends.:p
So what if OB got on his wet suit, dove down there, and fixed it, what would you find wrong with that? Didn't the US Coast guard go into action at the get go?so who would you hire with the expertise? Royal Dutch Shell? CITCO, Exxon, haliburton, If we hirede one of those people, who would pay for it? Us? The government over sight people, over looked some poor planning and safety concernsm that out fit is staffed with folks from the oil industery. All the kings horses and all the kings couldn't put humpty together again, and niether can all the government in the world, but they can make sure darn sure it dosn't happen again.Clinton, Bush, Obahma all of them let business run with little restraint, like I said, when they screw up, government HAS to fix it.Regardless, it will in the end come out of our pockets.
Ob would send someone and swear it was him. Prolly even provide a legal looking birth certificate oops that was another snafu my bad.
The gubment could have hired someone and held bp accountable for pAyment. Instead they hide behind some legal jargon. So now they just let the oil leak and leak we will pay. Sure bp talks about paying for it all but again a little help from some experts ie... other companies that are drilling would have been nice.
Maybe ob and the dems didn't want to bite one of the foreign hands that feed them?? The spin will be that bush messed up and poor ob inherited this problem. That's this administrations M. O.
....The gubment could have hired ....
And if that were suggested right up front, you would have been one of the first to jump on him for allowing govt to take over another company. Oooo, look, now we have Barry Petrolium.
As for the original post, that is why we need special interest groups and lobbiest the hell out of Washington, NOW! I don't care who it benifits, all of them gotta go. Industries have no business bribing, err, I mean, giving campain contributions to candidates. Then again, weren't some of you applauding that assinine SC decision to allow that.
Andrew
Nope I said (hired) not (take over) but I see the confusion since thats what this administration would really want to do anyway.
Seriously though, it happens all the time in construction. If your company can't get the job done the Construction Manager can and will hire another company to help you or complete your job and pay them out of your pay. Was there a think tank of experts on this? If so we are in trouble because they sukk at it.
I do like Barry Petrol...ole' BP:p
You still have to have someone to blame, ITS BP!!! OK so your guy lost the election, mine never got out of the primary. the government does not have experts on hand for every situation, if they did , too many folks would say it was over loaded.OK maybe this guy will be out of office in two more years, but it will take many years for this gulf thing to ever right it self if it ever does. If your next candidate says he'll have it resolved in one year, your going to believe that right?

My guy never made it too the election so we have that in common. BP made the mistake the gubment made the other mistake of not insuring this was handled properly. They do not have experts so they believed the BP guys....for how long now??? That worked really well believing these guys huh? The same guys who dump alot of money into their campaign. See a conflict of interest there?
Do you think that BP or any company in the history of drilling ever had to have a containment plan for something like this? I say yes and why haven't they moved quicker with this? Maybe they are not motivated enough? Kinda like working with friends and relatives who don't have a fear for their job....they don't move quick enough!
Tell me this whose fault was Katrina? Just curious if everyone gets the same pass as the Dems.
One leader for the Coast Guard was quoted at saying they were vastly understaffed. After almost three weeks of complaining to the higher ups extra manpower is finally on the way. Who's fault is that.
Here's what needs to be done. Barry wants to save the world, so save the Sum Beach big boy. They know that capping that off COMPLETELY will solve the problem. Every expert out there has acknowledged this. Why haven't they done it you ask, money **** it, money. They will loose a small fortune if that thing is permantly capped off. Don't think for a second that isn't the major role player here.
Just for the record, I don't like hardly any politicians. They are lieing, cheating, no count scum of the earth, that's why they are in politics. Hell they are more worthless than ambulance chasing lawyers, and that's lower than a snail's belly. I vote because it's my civic duty and hopefully someday we will get another good President. I still think George W is a decent man deep down and tried to do what was right most of the time. Did he make mistakes, sure he did, they all do, but at least I could identify with the man. So frickin what he couldn't give good speeches, who gives a rat's ass. Oh my bad you Democrats just love that crap. You eat it up like a hungry dog on a soup bone. Speeches don't make a good President and they darn sure don't make a good man.
Obama will go down in history as one of the WORST Presidents ever, mark my words. Every poll will show it, his accomplishments will show it, his MANY failures will show it. My guy lost the election, was he gonna be great, who knows, probably not. But he sure is standing up to illegals in his home state, can you see your Messiah doing what he's doing right now, BAHAWAHA, Now that's funnt right there now, I don't care who you are. Hell that's one of the main reason that clown got in office, he ain't gonna turn on them now, that's his only hope for re-election along with the Wino's, prostitutes and any other scum Acorn can pay to satnd in line at the voting booths. Oh wait a minute Acorn got dispanded for alleged wrong doing's, LMAO!!!!!
