Re: Deportation of illegal immigrants increases under Obama administration
Yeah, Obama and the administration want to make it look like they are doing something so that on the other hand they can make VOTING citizens out of the ten million illegals they don't deport. And, guess who they think those new citizens will vote for? Beside, if you read it carefully, the ones they are deporting are already in custody and have been convicted of crimes. The real problem is, as long as the borders are open like they are now, nothing will stop the illegals from coming back or coming in, in the first place.

:mad:IF THEY ARE DOING THIS THEN WAY ARE THEY STILL GETTING MED CARDS AND FOOD STAMPS FROM MY OFFICE, THEY COME IN EVERY DAY AND I HAVE SEVERLA LIVING IN MY APT COMPLEX. IF THEY WANT TO DEPROT SOME JUST GO TO PERDUE AND WAITH TILL SHIFT CHANGES OR GO TO THE LOCAL WAL-MART OR LAUNDRY MAT, OR ANY SPLILWAY ON THE RIVERS OR BELOW DAMS, THEY COULD GET HUNDREDS HERE IN OHIO CO.

They can't find them because they live in the shadows. I saw a fellow trying to order some food at a fast food place and couldn't speak english. We aren't supposed to think that he might be fresh from the border. Obviously he didn't get the memo about staying in the shadows.
I heard a report on the radio that although you can't deport 12 million people, you can enforce laws to the point they leave on their own. Sounds like there is a mass exodus from Arizona. Of course they aren't going south but going north and not leaving the states. They have it too good.

They are leaving Arizona in masses right now according to the news. The Libs said it wouldn't work, it's already working and they haven't lifted a finger yet. Good riddens, come back when you are 100% LEGAL AND NOT A **** DAY BEFORE.
Gov Jan Brewer has more balls than Barry and that lapdog Holder put together! Maybe she aught to run for President in 2012......

She's not a bit scared of Barry and his thousand man Szar group either, and recent polls show that 78% of America supports her 110%. That number speaks for itself ladies and gentlemen.

That is prolly why this article was put out there. Obamy is trying to ride the public opinion surge of supporting AZ and real immigration reform on ILLEGALS!! They seem to forget that these are illegals.
Re: Deportation of illegal immigrants increases under Obama administration
I'd be interested to know another stat, the net population of illegals in the country during that time frame. I'm guessing it still went up during the past few years. Which is why I still say that Arizona, New Mexico, and every other state in the country can pass all the laws they want, but until we have a secure border, people are going to continue to stream across it. Deporting people costs money. Illegal immigrants will continue to be a burden on our system as long as they are able to immigrate illegally.
Re: Deportation of illegal immigrants increases under Obama administration
Roadtoad, I agree with you and understand your meaning but part of the problem is that you AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE have been conned into thinking that these people are IMMIGRANTS. They are not immigrants, they are ILLEGAL ALIENS. Immigrants come into a country, through legal channels, with the intent of living in the country and becoming citizens. The vast majority of ILLEGAL ALIENS have no intention of giving up their motherland and are just here for the work and benefits they can spounge off of honest taxpaying citizens. If people would stop being politically correct in calling these people IMMIGRANTS and start calling them lawbreaking illigal aliens, we might have a start on changing this.
I just read that most of the Arizona law has been blocked, so as expected this thing is going to go all the way up the court system to the Supreme Court.

Unlike what Bush tried in 2004? http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/01/07/bush.immigration/
But anyway without throwing around the idea of Obama making illegals voting citizens (which is pure speculation on your part) actuall hurt him with the voting legal immirgants (a large part of his base according to many on here) because of the increase of illegals being deported?
And are your really going to nit pick about what illegals are being deported?
Politics aside it's a good thing that more illegals have been deported.
Also I agree that it all starts at the border and should be stoped there.
