Ground Zero Mosque
I have changed my mind about a mosque being built near Ground Zero. I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant. The mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance. That is why I also propose, that:
1) Two gay nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque thereby promoting tolerance within the mosque. We could call the clubs "The Turban Cowboy" and "You Mecca Me So Hot".
2) Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and have an open barbecue with spare ribs as its daily special.
3) Across the street a very daring lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret" with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.
4) Next door to the lingerie shop, there would be room for an Adult Toy Shop (Koranal Knowledge?), its name in flashing neon lights.
5) On the other side a liquor store, maybe call it Morehammered"?
If you agree in promoting tolerance and you think this is a good plan, write to you Congressman, Senator and to the President and recommend it.

Re: Ground Zero Mosque
Build it in Pakistan. This political correctness crap is really starting to make me wanna puke. I think if they build it there, the 70% of ALL AMERICANS that are stead fast against it aught to go up there and burn the dang thing to the ground, my rant is now over.
I'm Mark Hall and I approve this message. By the way Grump, funny stuff, lol.

Re: Ground Zero Mosque
You know I really think deep down that once this Mosque is built that many many New Yorkers as well as other Americans that are totally offended and angered by the insensitivity of building it so close to ground zero will retaliate in some form or another. I dont think people have an issue with them building one its WHERE they are building it that is a slap in the face to America. We all know it is done on purpose in an attempt to show that they feel they won on Sept 11th. I hear it is also going to be the biggest and most elaborate of all mosques which also sends a loud message. But I really dont think the mosque will last a year without vandelism and a small bomb going off in it. I would be surprised if it doesnt come tumbling down. Just my thoughts on it.
Enjoyed your comments Grumpy, very funny and lets add some prostitutes soliciting in front of it too. hahaha Heck that is New York.

Re: Ground Zero Mosque
I think they can build it when Americans or any Christians for that matter are allowed to bring Bibles,Crosses, and practice their religion in Muslim countries without being Chastised and Murdered. When a Baptist Church is allowed to be built in the center of Mecca or when "politically correctness" works both ways instead of a one way rearend kissing contest.

I havent heard anything on if a decision has been made yet but I hear Mayor Bloomberg is all for building it and since Obama kind of gave his approval for it I figured it will go ahead once the protests die down. If anybody has any recent news on this please share with us. Thanks.

Yeah...and I also thought our POTUS wouldn't make it through four years without being assassinated, or at least an assassination attempt made upon him.
America isn't what she used to be and neither are a large portion of the people in it. The times they are a changin'...
