No idea on the water level. Most of the bass are pretty small. Now the saugeye are a blast to catch and now is the time of year to try it. Also the catfishing is amazing there. Due to the saugeye and catfish doing so well there not much else has a chance imo.
Don't forget about the 1000 4" crappie :)

There are more big bass in that lake than small bass, at least from my experience. The water will always be muddy with extremely low vis so keep that in mind while fishing there.
I've never caught anything over 2.5# maybe. Doesn't mean they aren't there though. I fish it maybe 4 times a year. And mostly for the saugeye.
So , if you were looking for a change and you have never fished this lake , would you give it a shot ? I am talking bass fishing...
A change of pace is always nice if you ask me. This time of year though I have no idea targeting just bass.
Is this a gravel ramp , or concrete ? If I go and its concrete I dont want to back the trailer off too far and drop off.
gravel road that turns into a concrete ramp..i would def be careful but i've never had any issues
Decided not to go , afraid of the low water. Went to Prides Creek instead. Caught a few little ones..Wind today was crazy , hard to fish in an aluminum boat.
be glad u didnt go to huntingburg then..the wind just rolls right across that lake even if its a slight breeze
Gonna be worse tomorrow. Blue grass is going to be a mess for me I bet.
