thought it be a good question? Ican keep my body warm from head to toe in the winter, but I've yet to find a glove that lets me fish and keeps me warm. Any suggestions? Curious to see what you guys are using or have tried. I've read about a glove made by armour all, but hate to shell out the bucks eoth no input. Thanks
I bought a pair of mittens last year from Basspro. The portion around the fingers can be taken off and velcro'd back onto the mitten. Also has index finger and thumb slits to allow you to have those digits free while keeping the remaining digits inside the mitten. I paid less than $20.00 for them.
I like the thin rubber divers gloves,,,the watter your hands get the warmer they are,,,and got a good feel and can cast spinning reels with no proplem
I use fingerless weightlifting gloves. I bought them on sale for just $2 at Wal-mart when I needed something similar for covering winter events such as Christmas Parades and such with my photography. Works just as well, if not better for my fishing trips.

I have the under armor light weight gloves, I got them for a Christmas gift last year. They are not water proof but they do great, low profile and tight fit. I am not sure how much they are but I absolutely love mine.

Mittens are suppose to be the best way to keep your fingers warm. Just would like to not expose my fingers at all. Once that cold gets to them hard to warm them back up on the water.

I've heard of these gloves, but yet to find reveiws on them. Now I'm not talkin 40degree weather late winter walleye runs on the nolin river means knocking the ice out of your rods eyes. Just wonder how they hold up below 32 degrees? Do they keep you warm when wet like neoprene?
Neoprene is the way to go wetter the warmer. Drow backs they have to fit you like a second pair of skin. Just enough room to let a layer of water in. Paddle my kayak in the cold white water rivers and their great for gripping a paddle, but fishing with them on is a different story. Mine are 3mm and i find them to bulky for fishing.

well it was 24 degrees when i went this weekend and my hands did not get cold at all, they have the little grippy things all over the palms and fingers. they got a little wet but did not make my hands cold. Keep in mind i took one off to lip the fish after netting it and i also had ice in all my rod eyes. hope this helps
