Barbara Bush has her pegged. On Larry King Live, she has this to say about Sarah: "I sat next to her once, thought she was beautiful, and I think she's very happy in Alaska. And I hope she'll stay there."
My sentiments exactly! Barbara Bush is now my Favorite Living Republican!

Have to agree, I like Palin, but she is not ready for the next step.

Bush type republicans are SCARED to death of Palin. I don't think she has a chance in hell of winning an election, but I LOVE the fact that she is stirring up folks to THINK about what is going on.
If I ever though there was a chance for a 3rd party that could actually make a difference, I'd call it now. The "tea party" represents what REAL conservatives believe.
The current crop of McCain republicans are more like moderates and personally, they STINK up the political garbage. I still think a Moderate McCain is better than a leftwing Obama, but I'd much rather a REAGAN powerhouse FISCALLY responsible, Conservative, PRO LIFE, pro GOD Republican.........if they still exist.
Later,
Geo
I think she is ready and I hope she runs. What else does she have to do?? Be a community organizer?:p A lawyer?
Aside from that I love her show!
I guess she lost the PETA vote whenever they were halibut fishing and her daughter Bristol had to club a few fish in the head to save their meat....SHe did have the best quote that i have heard in a long time though.... "Don't retreat... Reload." now that is a quote to live by....
"Don't retreat... Reload." now that is a quote to live by....
GREAT QUOTE!
I do not feel she is Presidential material, however she is a HELL OF A WOMAN! She does everything Don says and not just for show because she loves it and it's a way of life.
She believes in everything I beieve in so what's there not to love.
What gets me is everybody always calling her stupid. Why is she stupid????? Tell me the reasons???? And Obama is a chemical scientist, bahawahaba, lmao..............
I do not feel she is Presidential material.
Considering how she resigned from office I tend to agree with you, but....
Was/is Nobama Presidential material? Hell no!! Is Donald Trump presidential material? Nope! Soooo...if these are my choices in 2012, I'm voting for Palin...actually, I hope she runs and I hope she wins...it's like you say, she likes and believes a lot of the same things as you and I, so what's NOT to like about her?
And as far as her not being very smart? I don't get that at all...and as for her resigning from office...hey, it took some nerve to do that I would think. Think about it...Palin comes from stock that works hard and people don't "quit", she wasn't raised like that...maybe resigning was a smart move on her part after all. God first, family second, career third, right? Aint this how it's supposed to be? Git'r done Palin...
On a separate note...I had a bon-fire chat with a lady Saturday night who voted for Nobama, very sweet lady, a school teacher, etc...she told me her reason why she voted for Nobama...I could feel her reasoning behind it...but now she is seeing what she had once "hoped would happen" in America did not and now she says she won't vote for him again...her husband's only comment was *******
Kinda curious why folks think she isn't ready for being POTUS? Or why she wouldn't be a good choice?
Is it fair to compare her political career to the present potus pre-office career? I think it is and to me she is more qualified and would do a better job of taking us in the right direction.
Is it because she is a woman?
No Don not because she is a woman, she is one HOT woman, and a grandmother at that, she is every outdoorsmans dream woman, smart, beautiful, love that libaryian loook, and she can actually hunt and fish and it is real to her not a show, she could be prez, but they will not let here as she is too common of a person. Good looking, and hunts and fishes, dont make many like her. LOLLOL LOL
Don, here is why I say that and it's not because of her abilities at all.
THEY WOULDN'T GIVE HER A CHANCE. And you know who they are. Now some of you out there are chomping at the bit to say, ''But Mhall you haven't gave Obama a chance what's the difference?'' Well you would be wrong as I have gave him a chance and all I've seen is uncontrolled spending, Huge government expansions, the health bill from hell, increased inflation and an abdunant rap sheet of negatives. And for God's sake please don't say he inherited the whole problem and it will take years to fix.
Sooner or later fellas if he throws enough crap against the wall hopefully some of it will stick and make sense, but so far I'm scratching my head to find ONE solitary positive from this administration nightmare.
