for some reason worms work great for me, but not one catch whatsoever on a lizard yet...

More of a texas rigger myself but i would say either a pumpkin seed w/chartreuse tail or electric grape

Only have luck with 6" lizard in watermelon for clear to stained and Black with blue tail for muddier water.

This but I do prefer the full size brush hog, still green pumpkin though.

Green pumpkin Charmers timber pup. It's the same thing as a zoom baby brush hog but it floats and is loaded with garlic.
