Not sure about the grass but the link above is for the water level and lake temperatures at Patoka lake. This data is collected by the Corp and published on the link above.
Was on the lake yesterday and the water was 83-85 :eek:. Yes the grass is growing pretty good so your grass patterns should work just fine.

i had 87-89 in the evening...lol. fishing sucked as always
embry, why not try banging the weed infested banks with hollow frogs... nothing beats that as a slump buster.
ive fished out on a local lake over the last 5 outings Ive caught 3,7,2,15,6 bass. i would say im only getting 60% of my strikes on top of that. So even if your missing bass(Or they are to small, like i keep telling myself) you are still getting the visual of bass strike which is a moral boost.
I consider myself an average fisherman and my best day out there all year was 6 or 7 last year.
Im throwing a Koppers jr green/yellow frog, 7'2 MH X-Fast, 7:1 Baitcaster on 50lb stealth spiderwire.

That doesn't surprise me. We got on the lake at 6 AM and quit a little after noon. We were on the main lake.
