New To Kentucky
hi i am new to kentucky. i live in louisville , i love to Bass fish i am looking for a couple of different things. 1- where are some good fishing spots. 2- what are some baits you would recommend.
Down in georgia all my life i basically only used zoom finese worms and your occasional nightcrawler and rooster tails. but it doesn't seem to be working out for me up here. looking for suggestions. thanks

Re: New To Kentucky
welcome to the ville. plenty of places to fish. Nolin, Rough, Barren and some might not agree but patoka is real nice. Buzz baits spring to mid summer till it gets too hot, then again fall to early november. lots of spinners at night, pretty much all the time. I like to crank it at night. lipless or deep bombers. 10" power worms always treat me right. I've had good results on chatter baits { black and blue } at patoka. Just plug away and keep at it you will find the color and technique.

Re: New To Kentucky
Welcome.
I caught my biggest bass (9.5 lbs.) in a little town called Newnan, GA. Ever heard of it? Most guys on here would disagree, but Taylorsville Lake is a good place to catch fish and is close to Louisville. A crank bait works well most days there. Good Luck.
