NCAA National Championship Game

Go ahead and mark it down, Nov 5th LSU at Alabama.....After watching these 2 teams this past weekend I'm not sure there's a team in the NCAA that can hang with either one of them...They both have to play Florida, who I think has close to the team speed to hang with them, with Bama having to go to the swamp...The total team speed, especially on D for these 2 teams is amazing....We watch them in SEC play where it doesn't appear they're that far ahead of everybody else in the country, until you see them step out of conference and be so much faster than anybody that stands in their way....Texas A&M, who was ranked 9 or 10 until they lost this weekend, is about to find out what real football is about in the SEC

I haven't seen Alabama yet, but LSU is scary good!

LSU is solid top to bottom, right now they are the best I've seen play this year.

LSU is the best I have seen this year and I can't stand Alabama. Wish the game was on a neutral field to find out who is better but that crowd at WVU was no picnic the other night and LSU survived.

Did any LSU fans survive. Morgantown is the scariest place I have ever attended a sporting event in my life. They have to fence in the student section.

LSU is bad to the bone. Alabama is a close second but at home I think they beat LSU.

Bama beat Arkansas like a tied up goat. Don't know if they can beat Florida or LSU, but it's gonna be fun to watch. Ain't gonna be no picnic at the swamp next week, them dang Gators'll be out for blood. If they can get by Florida though, LSU's gotta come to Tuscaloosa.

Things can change in a hurry, but it looks like the SEC figgers into the national championship picture...again.

It's way early, but I can't help but wonder about a 3rd national title in a row going to my home state. Be fine with me if Alabama and Auburn just alternated as champs every other year.

I don't see the Gators beating Alabama this year. IMO...Florida is a good team but not a top 5 and prolly not a top 10(ranked 12 right now). Alabama is just flat out good.

I think if you put Florida in any other conference than the SEC, they are a top 10 team....Rainey and Demps can flat out get down the field...Alabamas team speed on defense is dangerous for anybody, but then again so is LSU's....I think that game will come down to which quarterback manages the game better...Jarret Lee has been doing just that for LSU, and AJ Mccarron has been playing really well for Bama...Both D's are completely NASTY

I can see Florida beating anybody who comes into the swamp. They're ranked 12 or higher in most polls, and they are a very good football team.

Playing a top tier SEC school at home is like knocking down a hornet nest, you ARE going to get stung, it just depends on where and how often. We'll find out how good Bama is next weekend.

And Don...your boys go to Baton Rouge the week after Bama, then on to Auburn after that. You need to 'counsel' whoever made up the schedule.
