U of L Soccer thread gone as well

Dang, I gave U of L's Soccer team kudo's for beating my Hoosier's and now the tread is gone as well....Never said one word of disapproval for thier win and look wat happens......Maybe i should have blamed the officials, the time keeper or the U of l player's for the Hoosier's losing, then maybe the thread might still be up....

Just no drama for the U of l fans to hate on me for giving their team a pat on the back...Guess I'll just have to only post more spiteful things and truths about the U of L teams in the future, in order to keep the threads goin longer...

Same here...I'm not a soccer fan at all. I have tried to watch it and get into it but I can't. I would rather watch baseball and that's about as interesting as watching grass grow to me....but hey thats the great thing about the remote control!!

I like people getting knocked silly from a hit like in football, mixed martial arts or basketball.

I coach a girls High School Soccer team, we have suffered from big hits leading to concussions with one on my players. One playing the entire season with a broken toe. One playing with a crack in her ankle on top of shin splints, not to mention the cracked rib. I always thought it to be a slow game until I got into. There is a reason why soccer and football are the only two sports that doesn't allow an 8th grader to play on the varsity team.

Soccer is a blast to play, but not so much fun to watch....I played soccer for 3 or 4 years as a kid, and there were plenty of hard hits! You spend the entire game running unless you are the goalie.

Played a little myself. Wanna get in shape.........Play soccer. It will make you wilt quick if your not, lol.

Both my boys played it. Passed on baseball (to slow paced) and football. They loved that soccer. If my kids weren't playing it no way I could watch it. Still don't understand the whole game.

I liked watching the US women's team play this past world cup. It really was exciting. All those extra time goals. And I hate soccer. Although I'm a KY fan, I root for UofL when they are not playing KY. They've got great programs in soccer, baseball, women's basketball, men's basketball, etc.
