Glad the guy won the award...BUT...I say if the guy was in the sec, big 10, ACC, Big 12 or PAC 10..he would not have had the success that he had playing against the Big East...
I know I'm going to take a hit on my comments, but it's true...the Big East was arounf the 7th best Conference in the NCAA this year, just like last year.....So of course his numbers are going to get inflated playing against inferior teams.....
Just like OTIS's Defense got most of it's number's playing Big East Teams and Cupcakes..
But maybe next year when the new teams come into action, things might be a little different.
Like to see Otis play Boise St., SMU and Houston and maybe CFU...But I don't see The Big East having a round Robin schedule so that they play each other...they have to schedule 3 to 4 games as patsy's at home....
Clyde, you can think what you want, but Bridgewater was ranked as one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country last season in high school. EVERY team in America wanted him. He was the starting quarterback for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl (Louisville had three other players in that game as well). This kid is good and you are going to see it in the furutre. I guess if teams from these alleged "Powerhouse" Conferences would quit buying their way out of contracts to play Louisville he could prove it.
As to the conference being down, sure the last two years have been rough, but it looks like that is turning around. Plus, I would hardly say the Big East is the worst conference, especially if you look at the overall picture. The numbers do not back your assertion up.
Mills is delusional. You guys might as well quit arguing with him because he is one of those people whos blurred vision distorts rational thinking.

I did not say the Big East was the worst conference, they were ranked like 7th out of the 11 Conference's....
And as I said earlier..the number's were attained from playing patsy's and the Big East teams....If the kid was playing against the more elite teams in the NCAA, no way does he put up the numbers he attained against the Big East...Say if he was in the SEC, Big Ten or even the Big 12...Come on OTIS fans, admit that I am right and stop being so dilusional.....
The kid got recruited by Miami, but once Miami got hit with all the NCAA sanctions..He left Miami and then selected OTIS as his next choice....

Surely you didn't just mention the Big 10 in the same breath as the SEC and ahead of the Big 12 did you? Who is the delusional one?
Miami was not hit by the sanctions before this kid picked Louisville Clyde! He graduated high school a semester early and enrolled at U of L in January and went through spring practice. My gosh your ignorance knows no bounds. You are absolutely the least knowledgeable sports fan IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! You seriously know nothing. No wonder the guys on Kentucky Hunting laughed at you all the time!
Whats next? You going to tell me that Louisville didn't have a top 25 recruiting class? I guess the class Strong and company are putting together with all these good players is a figment of everyone's imagination as well.
Blinders are not your frined Clyde, but facts could be if you would quit ignoring them!
My ol my, then why is it that so many announcer's at the OTIS games said that Teddy selected Miami as his first choice. Then when Miami got hit with the NCAA SAnctions and put on probation he backed out and committed to OTIS..I guess their wrong as well.....Heck everyone is uninformed then, other than OTIS fans......
Who the hell is Otis? Sounds like a drunk I knew. You must be talking about UK former coach Gilespi.
Lol OTIS is one of the best jabs at Louisville I have heard. I could care less who has the bigger errr uh "stadium" but that OTIS is funny stuff.

Name one announcer who said that Clyde! Just one. If you can I will send them an e-mail proving them for the fools that they are. I guess all the highlights of him playing in the Red/White scrimmage this past April are all fakes!

Have to admit, that was clever from Cal! UK/U of L game is two weeks away, when is he going to start working on the refs in the media?
A few years back when Louisville was busy beating Kentucky 7 out of 8 in football, a writer for Sporting news called UK "Louisville's Play Toy". Some of the guys on ITV started calling them LPT.

You mean the guy that was the best rookie qb this season and ended the year with the 3RD. HIGHEST COMPLETION PERCENTAGE OF A ROOKIE IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE NFL?
He played behind a below average offensive line with no superstars at wide reciever or running back and still went 6-6 as a starter!
Btw, I realize this is an old post and that msg mills quitely disappeared from the board about the time Louisville won a Sugar Bowl, a national title in basketball, a women's runner up and a college world series appearance. Just wanted to re-visit this topic!
