rough river crappie question?

my dad is looking to go to rough sunday and try for some crappie. i'm just curious if people are catching them on the main lake right now?

I don't want to know anyones hot spots I just want to know if they have moved out of the creeks yet. There's no need in making a pointless trip if they haven't.

Not trying to be a smart @$$ but why don't you think you catch them in the creeks?

It's not that I don't think we can. It's that the area we fish we cant get into the creeks with our boat. And I'm just curious with this warm winter if they have moved out to spawn early

They are on the main lake. The locals are catching limits off their brush piles.

We were up on Rough 2 weeks ago. Crappie were WAY up the creeks. Caught fish all day. Had to walk the bank in spots.

Any updates on the crappie bite..thinking of going in the morning.

The last I've seen is they are catching them shallow close to cover. If you could please give a report once you get done on here or through a pm I'm going Saturday and would like to know what to expect
