Louisville went up to Lexington last evening and laid the smacketh down.
12 to ZIP in a Shut out. Cats ranked number 1 in one pole and number two in another and got manhandled by the Cards.
Even the equipment managers for Louisville had a base hit, lol..
UK absolutely fell apart once they got behind. UL's Jared Ruxer pitched an amazing game and UL just crushed the ball at the plate.
UL should move up considerably from their current #19. That was the first non-conference game UK has lost in the last 22 games.
There's still buzzards circling over there this morning....noticed them on my way to work....

Yes Matt lives in the Highlands. The CJ runs more articles on UK than the Cards. So I don't know where you get your info from.

BTW, Petrino was fired for specifically lying to the AD and the University President. Heard it alst night on McClains talk show. According to Lach both men specifically pointed that issue out as their biggest problem with how it all went down.

Yes, Cardinal baseball needs to hang their hat on spanking UK. I guess they can't hang there hat on being consistently in the top 25 and three Super regionals and a College World Series appearance! Oh that's right, they can because they have done all that!
Asfor the mdeia comment, that may be the dumbest post I have ever read on here (not counting Mills, Coombro or Demodan of course). Heck, Charlie Strong banned the local media from U of L football last week for not covering them enough. Of coursre, someone as media savvy as you about Louisville media probly knew all about this down in Pendleton County.
