Want to take a buddy down to lake Cumberland. Who should I use?
Lance Sasser.
I have used Morgan and they were great, Sasser seems like a really good guy and a great guide. If i were to book another guide i would go with Sasser.
Does Tim Tartar still guide out of Alligator #2?
Rick Holt, Striper Madness, Alligator 2 is a great guy as well.
Lance Sasser
Stripernut's Junk fish extraviganza!!!! All the drum, flatheads, blues, carp, bluegill, and gar you can catch. Well maybe a few stripers too...LOL
Without a doubt I would go with Rick holt at Striper madness guide service. He is really on the fish.
Not sure if he still guides or not but Gerald Bates has the longest run in experience on the lake and accomplished Striper tourney winner' I think his website was fishlakecumberland.com Good luck Tech

Bates retired. His client base is handled by Morgan's.
There are many great guides on the lake and many work together these days. it might come down to who is available when you want them. You usually have to book with Lance months prior but it doesn't hurt to ask him. You'll have better luck looking for someone mid week..
Bam, Kapow, Zowie, Boom
I'm sorry I just had to, lol......
Hey, there is always Striper Fun and Jim Durham! He's always posting about catching fish and he's got the loudest rods on the lake!
I'm kidding, I don't know him but I would bet he would be a lot of fun to fish with and I'm sure he's put you on fish.
