Either water and vinegar or Windex w vinegar is what Hummingbird recommends. Stay away from ammonia.
I use lake water and the cleaning towel that came with it. Seems to clean up pretty good with just water. Not sure what you are supposed but I have heard some things are not good for the screen.

This is correct
Heard bug spray is a big no no too. I'm with Peter. Water and the cloth it came with works just fine.
The windex with vinegar works awesome and one bottle last a long time. It also good for getting water spots off your motor cover or anything else.
Use a mixture of equal amount of distilled water and distilled vinegar in a spray bottle spray let set a few seconds and wipe with a microfiber towel.
4 ML's of vinegar to 1 ounce of DI water.
I use the cleaner that is recommended for our flat screen TV. It is very mild and doesn't leave any streaks either.
