Lost rod and reel

Was fishing the falls Monday morning with a friend from the bank. No fish all day and when my pole finally got the slam it was pulled straight into the water. Lost a bass pro shop power plus rod and a shimano corvalus reel. The rod is brand new and the reel is very sentimental to me. If any one finds it I will give a reward if returned. I know the chances are unlikely but I have high hopes since the water is low.

I agree that the chances are pretty slim, but there are folks on here that fish just about every hole in Kentucky.

I was fishing the falls where the fossil beds stop and the mud begins. By the small creek that runs into the river right between the falls and the boat ramp. There is an island of small rocks built up, you can see it as long as the river is around 12ft or lower. I was bank fishing casting toward the rock island. I believe I found a small hole over there, my line took a few seconds longer to hit the bottom than my buddy. But pretty much right where the mud starts after the fossil beds and between that island of piled up rock. If you do manage to try I greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
