We're headed to Barkley in about two weeks and hoping to catch both, crappie and shellcracker. I know the fall crappie bite is fairly popular down there but was wondering about the shellcracker bite. Up here in the Louisville area, the fall is usually a really good time for the shellcrackers to set up shop on flats in the 10-15ft depth.

Will the crappie and shellcracker be hitting the first and second week of October??
