Here is part of one frame showing the bait fish scrambling to get away. Looks like two athletes if you use your imagination enough.

I bet if one got real lucky and had a down camera you could get some extreemly good close up shots shots of predator and prey in the air. With a ton of fish jumping and x frames per second there would have to be some great shots.

Ive been to Taylorsville lake a lot and seen a rainy day influence the hybrids into coming up in jumps on and off almost all day. Would a rainy day like that which is possible on Sunday possibly have the same affect on the stripers at Cland or does it not work like that there very often. Just asking, never been there after stripers in jumps during the day. Looks like a blast, just trying to take a guess at when a decent time would be to make a trip coming from frankfort.
    Thanks for any insight.

It won’t make them come up all day but it will usually make them come up longer. Each set of jumps tend to stay up longer, more jumps occur and they last longer in the day. Same goes for over cast day and no rain it’s just the lack of sun that lets them come up longer and more often. On Cumberland the colder it gets the better it gets, so they are jumping now but the jumps don't last long by the end of October you should have good solid jumps. This time of year they can be unpredictable for most people.
The biggest thing is keep your boat out of the jumps if you watch the first video posted, I made a booboo and ran my boat right up into them. When I came off plane I carried more speed than intended into the jumps, normally this spooks them and sends them down. Most likely I would still get one but if there are other boats coming; they would not have as the fish would go down. When fishing with other boats be courteous and try not to spook the fish.
