    i work for the fed bureau of prisons and we are not furloughed do to being excepted/essential employees thus meaning i worked 16 hrs yesterday and going to work 8 hours today and who the heck knows when i will get paid or if i will get paid. But i guess it comes with the territory its not like we can lock the gate behind us as we leave and expect everything to be ok when we get back when this whole pi$$ing contest is over...

    3 buying car customers cancelled today due to shutdown and furloughs. How did that help local economy? Wife off no pay passed 2 days. In all, govt has lost confidence and revenue. This too will pass' and I plan to make up the difference by lying on taxes and robbing the govt every chance I get.
