caught fish with eggs today

I caught 3 keepers today and when i cleaned them all 3 were carrying eggs...am i missing something?

Not at all, Kevin ..... fish will have egg sacs of varying sizes by this time of year. They'll grow slowly over the Winter season, but most of the caloric energy that is consumed by the fish during the Spring pre-spawn warm up period, will be utilized in the growth of the eggs.
