Has Barren started turning over?

I'm watching KY Afield and the DNR dude stated that Barren from the Narrows up lake has already turned over.

I find that nearly IMPOSSIBLE to believe.

Guys........has it turned?

As of 9/30 the water temp from the surface to forty feet is the same or 1 to 2 degrees off. With the depths of lake getting shallower as you go upstream I would have to agree with the DNR guy. I crappie fished up there last wk and I caught fish from 5' to 22' and they were quiet scattered. I caught a limit but I burned alot of gas doing it, one here three there and so on. Some people say the water temp has to be around 50 for the lake to turn over and some say the surface temp and bottom temp need to match for turnover to occur and that is happening now.
