One cannot extrapolate one State's success in a government run health program onto the Nation's ability to transfer wealth to pay for the poor.

I too understand and am concerned about the high costs of medications. I was diagnosed as a Type I diabetic just 3 months after I left the workforce. Why is that anyone's problem but mine?

Lantus Insulin is about $199.00/month and Humalog is the same. That's my problem only. Why should my burden be shouldered by others. Yes, it *****, but it's my burden, not yours.

Health insurance of $900.00/month and out of pocket medications at $500.00/month. I therefore request that every member on fishin.com send me $40.00/month to cover my expenses. Does that sound fair?

It's MY PROBLEM AND I'll strive to live and take care of myself, just as I've done all my adult life.

I don't want help from others and if that means we eat Ramon noodles for every meal to cover my medications, so be it.

Oops, sorry I placed Maryland instead of Massachusetts medium income.

Do you believe we would stay the country we are and have been if we simply allow people to die if they don't happen to have the resources to pay the cost of the treatment they need?... Do you believe we should simply let folks die from gunshot wounds if they don't have the resources to pay for the ambulance ride to the hospital where they should have to pay for whatever treatment they might need before they are taken into the facility?...After all it's none of our business and it is their problem.... I see you would still be able to "eat ramon noodles" after you pay for whatever treatment you need, not everybody is that fortunate.
