The Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Program apportionment for 2013 totals $522.5 million. The Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Program apportionment for 2013 totals $359.9 million. As a result of the statutorily required sequester, these apportionments have been reduced by 5.1 percent, or approximately $39.2 million. Additional Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration grant funding to the states has also been reduced, for a total sequestration-related reduction of approximately $44 million.

Did anyone see fishing tackle prices reduced by 5.1%.............ANYONE......

I wonder, because it seems that the revenue stream generated by fishing tackle is EARMARKED for conservation related projects, yet the IDIOTS in Washington made cuts across the board with regards to funding that has nothing to do with the general fund.

I'd love to see a spending amendment that FORCES earmarked taxes to be spend on those EARMARKED projects.

Motor Fuel Tax: Pay for roads
SSI Tax: Pay for social Security
Medicare Tax: Pay for Medicare
Fishing Tackle Tax: Pay for Fishing.

The list goes on and on and on and on........

GRRRRRRRR.

I think I need a blood pressure medication tax............to pay for medication for GEO......

SHEITE.
