Was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction? My 1197c decided to not recognize the external antenna. It is reading unconnected even though it is connected. I think it is the antenna receiver puck but I was wondering if it is a set up issue. I just disconnect the front unit from the interlink and the rear unit connected directly to the antenna receiver. Has anyone else had issues with these units?

Check your software update. They are adding updates to these units all the time and if you get a couple of updates behind it won't recognize the puck. You will find the latest update on the Humminbird website where you registered your unit. It looks like 6.600 is the latest version software.
